Day 1 Madrid - Salamanca - Oporto


Depart from our established hotels in Madrid. Please refer to your documentation for detailed departure information. Drive to Salamanca. Free time in this University and World Heritage City of great architectural and artistic wealth. Departure to the Portuguese border until you reach Porto. Accommodation.

Pick-up at Hotel 'Aloft' at 08:30 (please be there by 08:15 AM)

Day 2 Oporto


Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, considered World Heritage city. We admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church. Afterwards, enjoy a different perspective of the city along the river Douro aboard the BlueBoats Cruise and discover the historic heritage visiting one well-known Port Wine Cellars with a wine tasting included. Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation

Day 3 Oporto - Coimbra - Fatima


Breakfast. Departure towards Coimbra, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe and cradle of Fado. Free time. Continuation to Fátima, center of the Christian Faith and a World Pilgrimage Sanctuary, with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary appeared. We recommend visiting the Chapel of the Apparitions, the heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three little shepherds: Lucía, Francisco, and Jacinta. In the evening, possibility to attend the candlelight procession. Accommodation.

Day 4 Fatima - Batalha - Nazare - Alcobaca - Lisboa


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline architecture, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré. Free time, then proceed to Alcobaça (also a World Heritage Site), with its Gothic church and Cistercian monastery, whose origins date back to the 12th century. Continue on to Lisbon. Arrival in the Portuguese capital and accommodation.

Day 5 Lisboa


Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a city tour of Lisbon, formerly known as Olissipo, covering its main squares and avenues, the Belém Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery (exterior), and the Monument to the Discoveries. The afternoon is free to explore the city’s charming corners, such as the Alfama district, or to join the optional excursion to Sintra and Cascais (both World Heritage Sites). Day 6 Lisboa - Mérida - Córdoba


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Merida, the capital of Extremadura. Declared a WorldHeritage Site, Merida is renowned for its rich historical heritage, including its well-preservedRoman ruins: the theater, the amphitheater, the Roman bridge, and more. Free time and thencontinue to Córdoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 7 Córdoba - Sevilla


Breakfast at the hotel. Impressive tour of the Mosque, today a Cathedral, that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two-hour ride reach Seville. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 8 Sevilla


Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, monumental and panoramic city tour, including entrance to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter’s in Rome. We will also visit the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, the natural setting of “Carmen” and the place where the myth of “Don Juan” developed, as well as María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure to explore different perspectives and local flavors of this vibrant, sun-filled city. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 9 Sevilla - Ronda - Torremolinos


After breakfast at the hotel, drive south passing typical villages. Reach Ronda; free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon, continue to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 10 Torremolinos

Day 11 Torremolinos - Tarifa - Tánger - Fez


Departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol and arrival in Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival in Morocco, disembarkation, customs formalities, and continuation by coach to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 12 Fez


Breakfast. Complete visit of the city considered the religious capital or the country. Founded in the 8th Century by Idriss II, it is considered one of the 4 Moroccan Imperial capitals. Panoramic tour of the most emblematic places such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter and the fortress that has the best view of Fez el Bali, the medina or ancient city. Take a walking tour accessing the medina through the famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate and have the possibility of experiencing a return to the past of the city that still lives close to Middle Age. Walls that protect its interior made of organized alleys where you will experience a thousand smells and flavors, this place is considered World Heritage. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 Fez - Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech


Breakfast and early departure to Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the most emblematic places susch as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca where you will visit the most interesting places such us the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche and the exterior of Hassan II mosque. Once the visit is over, free lunch en route and continue to Marrakech. Accommodation at the hotel. Optionally, typical dinner at Fantasia Chez Ali under Kaidal tents

Day 14 Marrakech - Casablanca


Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, city tour of the so-called “Pearl of the South,” beginning with the magnificent Menara Gardens, featuring a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, exterior visit of the Koutoubia Minaret, the twin sister of Seville’s Giralda. Entering the old part of the city, we will visit the Bahia Palace, once owned by a nobleman of the city. Finally, arrival at Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of the most fascinating places in Morocco, from where we will access the souks and the medina. Guilds of artisans in woodwork, ceramics, leather, and spices will be among the highlights of the visit. Lunch at the hotel and departure to Casablanca. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.

Day 15 Casablanca - Tánger - Tarifa - Torremolinos


After breakfast at the hotel departure to Tangier. Transfer to the pier to board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive towards the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 16 Torremolinos

Day 17 Torremolinos - Granada


Breakfast. Departure towards the city of Granada, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-renowned Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by Washington Irving. Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optional Flamenco Zambra show.

Day 18 Granada - Madrid


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure heading north towards Madrid. END OF OUR SERVICE.
